Where can I find the detailed agenda?

You can find the detailed conference agenda and session listings here.  

Do I need to sign up for specific sessions before attending? 

All sessions are concurrent and you do not need to pre-register for individual sessions. Registration for Tuesday's pre-conference day is required in advance for an additional fee, when you register for the conference. 

Will there be a printed program or handouts available?

The annual conference is paper‐lite as a we focus on sustainability and technology. You can find the detailed schedule here and we encourage you to utilize the mobile app for helpful maps, tips, sessions, and presenter information to stay in the know.  Registered attendees will receive an email with an invitation and instructions for downloading the mobile app the week prior to the conference. 

What is the appropriate attire?

Business casual attire is appropriate at all events held during the conference. However, on Thursday afternoon and evening, as we tour Brown University's campus and gather for the Special Event at Pembroke Field, please feel free to dress casually. We encourage you to wear comfortable shoes and attire for warm summer weather on campus. 

Where do I check in for the conference and pickup my name badge? 

Registration will be located on the 17th floor of the hotel, outside of the main general session room (Biltmore Ballroom) and exhibitor area. Registration will be open starting at 7:30am on Tuesday, August 2nd.  Attendees not registered for pre-conference sessions are encouraged to stop by and pick up their badge prior to attending Tuesday's welcome reception.  

Registration and Information Desk Hours are as follows: 
Tuesday, August 2nd from 7:30am - 7:30pm (exhibitor check in and set up 12pm - 7:30pm)
Wednesday, August 3rd from 7:30am - 5:00pm 
Thursday, August 4th from 7:30am - 3:00pm
Friday, August 5th from 8:00am - 12:00pm

Whether you call it Providence or PVD, there’s no denying that this city is unlike any other. Campus spirit and history collide to create a melting pot of one-of-a-kind experiences, many of which are just steps from Graduate Providence. 

Step back in time at the shopping arcade or on a ghost tour, or look to the future at one of Providence’s five universities or the countless bars and restaurants. Take on the town with these eight fun things to do, see, and eat all around downtown Providence.

 

CFTA will follow state and local COVID -19 guidelines in place during the conference, August 2nd - 5th, 2022.  Mask and proof of vaccination are not currently required at the hotel and for short term visitors on campus. If you are not feeling well, please do not attend. We encourage an environment that welcomes everyone and their level of comfort for masking.
