The smart campus of tomorrow, tomorrow.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has a one-of-a-kind approach to the smart campus. For over four decades, we have continuously designed, developed, and manufactured an extensive network of smart sensors and control systems — all in-house.  With such a long history of institutional experience in the Internet of Things, UNL has a unique perspective on the past, present, and future of operational technology in higher education. In this talk, Nate Benes will discuss the opportunities (and pitfalls) of the smart campus from an owner's perspective and show how a holistic approach to analytics and systems integration can drive both efficiency and sustainability.
