Conference Tours

Details: Attendees will enjoy a bus tour of the University of Texas at Austin campus followed by attending one of the five offered tour options.  Tour signup required during registration.  Space is limited

Tour #1:  Architecture

Tour #2:  Campus Ecology

Tour will cover several environmentally significant locations and features on campus with a focus on Waller Creek, campus trees, biodiversity, blending of traditional and native landscapes. Guides will also describe efforts by faculty to use the campus in teaching and research, with a focus on technology utilization for irrigation management, and creek ecology.

Tour #3:  Stadium Facilities

Learn more about what goes on behind the scenes to maintain a world-class football stadium.
  

Tour #4: TACC Visualization Lab

The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) Visualization Laboratory (Vislab) is a state-of-the-art facility where staff explores the intersection between human perception and large-scale visual analysis through the study of visualization and interactive displays.

Tour #5:  LBJ Presidential Library

The Presidential Tour includes the Oval Office, Life in the White House, The First Ladies Gallery, LBJ's Presidency, and A Legacy of Liberty.
